When Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (CNRL) needed to install a pipeline next to an existing hotline that carried millions of dollars of oil per day to their Horizon facility they trusted The Crossing Company.
The North Saskatchewan River project was 810m long for the installation of a 324 mm line pipe. This line was installed immediately parallel to an active pipeline. The Crossing Company worked with CNRL to complete the project specific Collision Avoidance Plan and constructed the project without incident. The project group included senior management from both companies and the success is a direct result of the team approach applied throughout pre-planning, project kick off and construction.
